I’ve been a hairstylist for almost a decade, and in that time I’ve learned one simple truth: the right tools change everything. I’ve worked with every hair type, fine, fragile, thick, coarse, tangled, kid-hair, mom-hair, ethnic-hair, extension-hair, and I’ve seen firsthand how something as small as a brush can either make your routine easier… or completely miserable.

After having my boys, my entire perspective shifted. I wanted more time at home with them, more freedom, and more ways to build something of my own within the industry I love. I wasn’t interested in anything corporate—I wanted a business that came from my hands, my expertise, and my heart.

And above all, I wanted to create something that would help me build a future for my family. I’ve never had a true “home” growing up, and one of my biggest dreams is to buy land and create a place my kids will always have, long after I’m gone. That legacy matters to me more than anything.

My journey into creating hairbrushes started long before I realized it. My sister has always had extremely fine, tangle-prone, sensitive hair… and so did I. I used to rip through my own hair with whatever brush I had nearby, while my sister needed the gentlest touch. As a stylist, I saw the same contrast in my clients—some were tough as nails and some couldn’t tolerate the slightest pull. I spent years teaching people how to brush without pain, without breakage, and without dreading it.

Then one day, after helping one of my most tender-headed clients (and her daughter) who could never find a brush that didn’t hurt, something clicked. I saw other stylists launching their own products—foils, color brushes—and I thought,

“Why not me? Why not brushes?”

That moment lit something in me.

I wanted to create brushes that weren’t just for stylists, but for real people—kids, moms, fine-hair girlies, sensitive scalps, and anyone who’s ever said, “Brushing my hair hurts.”

I wanted a product that was gentle, effective, high-quality, and created through the eyes of a mom, a stylist, and someone who genuinely understands hair from both sides of the chair.

It’s a way to work from home with my babies, design products I believe in, schedule my own time, and build something that supports my family while helping others feel confident in their daily routine.
